Oh my effing G it's 4 am.

So, I feel super happy, and it's pretty much all thanks to demi_selena. Being at the party post really made be reminisce about the "good old days," and although some people have disappeared, there are still loads of wonderful people in that community and I love them oh so much <3

demi_selena gave me a place to be myself, i.e. thuper gay, and I've come to realize it's really the only place I can do so, at least at this point in my life, and I'm truly thankful for that.

Also, I do ever so much like feeling ~popular :D

So yes, point of this entry is to say thanks to demi_selena and especially my favorite modly mod of modly things, takemeback (and the other mods as well,judyarlene, karenknismesis, and recentlyevil), AND! To say that I'm WRITING AGAIN!!

Finals are done this week, and then it's off to vacation land in the snow, so I am very much indeed looking forward to typing up some chapters that are long over-due whilst cuddled in a warm blanket and sipping hot cocoa with tiny marshmallows. Ah, Winter Time :)

Battling for first on my list of Fics to Do is the next chapter to Venomous and the next chapter to London is Calling (anyone dying to have either one first? They're both at about the same point in terms of final draft).

And after that, I've got a Demi/Dallas smut idea, another PPP fic set to the song "Walking on Air" by Kerli, and finally, a Carly/Sam fic based on their mandatory uniforms from that one episode :3 Eventually, I think I'd like to try writing a Blue Crush fic *BECAUSE I'M A SURFER AND I THINK I CAN MAKE SOMETHING PRETTY EFFING SPECIAL WITH IT* and a Noir fic, because omg I love that anime. (omg... that would be my first anime fic... I MUST).

ON (writing) HIATUS

Nothing's wrong this time (or, not any more than usual, I should say). It's just with the semester closing soon, I've got papers and political science-y things overtaking my brain, and fandom has officially left the building.

I should have done this post earlier, because I haven't written more than a couple sentences since about a month ago.

I LIKE THIS SOOOOOOONG

I made some promises to people about writing certain fics. Specifically, Selena/Dallas and Selena/Taylor and I think even a Selena/Hayley.

I'm sorry to say that I cannot fulfill these requests. I have tried, and I just find it difficult and frustrating to write Selena opposite others besides Demi(in a romantic fashion). That's a limitation on my part, and I apologize.

I think the Selena I have created can only function with Demi to bounce off of. If I try to write her hooking up with Dallas, she comes across as whorish and her words just don't flow right. With Taylor, I feel like it's too motherly and overbearing to actually be romantic. And with Hayley, well, I think that's just because I've already written Hayley with Demi and Miley, and Selena would make a nice roundoff.

This is not to say that I do not ship these relationships. I do, actually. You will be hard pressed to find me not shipping *ANY* of these girls with each other. I just can't write it, at least at the moment.

So, I just wanted to apologize for breaking promises and perhaps dashing any hopes that I inadvertently raised. I still have the notes written down, and maybe one day in the future when I'm bored, I'll look at them and inspiration will come. But as of right now, I'd rather not force words onto a page, and have readers suffer through what could very well be ~crap.

I think I am so upset by this because I feel some of you have offended a very good friend of mine, and I am overtly protective of the people I love. And, it's late at night and I'm not having the greatest of weekends.

I just need to say this, get it off my chest:

Some of you are very rude. Perhaps you don't realize it. Maybe you will now.

Writing is an art. Sometimes it's hard to appreciate a certain work, or in this case, the way a certain work was ended; I understand. But don't be so fucking immature about it.

By saying that you wished a chapter had never happened, never been written, you are basically slapping the writer in the face. Many long hours and tough, painful decisions had to be made to bring this work that I know so many of you love into existence. To say such a thing is to diminish the struggles of the writer.

Maybe you should stick to legitimate flames instead of patronizing us by saying "omg you're a great writer, but still, yah, I hate this."


I apologize. But I couldn't sleep until I made my feelings known.
